Alandi: Warkaris’ (devotees) dance of bliss at a temple during the Pandharpur Wari (yatra) in Lord Vithoba’s honour. Lakhs of Warkaris converged for the Pandharpur Wari (Yatra to Pandharpur) in Maharahstra after two years. Honouring Lord Vithoba, the yatra involves carrying the paduka of saints (most notably Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram) in a palkhi, from their respective shrines to Pandharpur.
